Elle Marie: 1 Year Old!!!

This month we have been pumpkin-patching non-stop and decorating fiercely for Halloween!  Elle is still not mobile, which makes Mommy extra exhausted but makes it easier for me to shower and clean around the house while I know she'll still be in the same spot I left her!  Jack is very excited to go out trick o' treating this year and loves to go on walks to see all the decorations around the neighborhood.  Daylight savings time is also sneaking up on us, which means dark evenings & nights and LOTS of Disney movies in my future while we wait and secretly pray that Dadda comes home early from work!

Weight/Size: 23 lbs (85% percentile in weight & height)
Eye & Hair Color, Teeth: Blue/Green/Hazel- so many colors!  Dark brown straight/fine hair, 4 teeth up top and 2 on bottom
Nicknames: Wee, Sister, Baby, Ellie

Favorite/New Words: No new words, just grunting and pointing

Favorite Activities:  Bathtime, swinging outside, playing on the playground seesaws, wagon rides

Signature Moves:  Feeling for a bow in her hair even when there isn't one!  No-no-baby!

Likes: Listening & dancing to music on the tv, reading books she can "feel", watching Jack run, and opening & closing doors/microwave/fridge

Dislikes: when she doesn't get her way!

Mommy Likes & Dislikes:  Kissing her chubby baby cheeks and making her laugh, nothing in the world is sweeter! Dislikes: when she's not feeling well and super fussy!

Sleeps: 8pm-6:30am, naps at 10 & 3
Looking forward to:  HALLOWEEN!  We plan on taking Elle out trick o' treating with her brother and family, after we all have yummy potluck food.  I can't wait to see the kids dressed up and may already have put them in their costumes once or twice ;)
