Travis finally convinced me to go camping this summer! Our terms were as long as I didn't have to sleep in a tent pregnant and/or with a toddler I'd go- and he found Lost Lake! About an hour off the highway in the middle of nowhere, with a gorgeous lake and 8 "lodge" rooms, I couldn't have been happier with this hidden campsite! We went early Saturday morning and stayed until Sunday, just one night because we weren't totally sure how Jack would do but everything went really well! Jack LOVED it there- especially the midnight (ok it was dark) flashlight walk where he saw snakes, a witch in the trees, and a bear....we are totally looking forward to going again now next summer too!
