You know those times where you sit and think about all the fun things you can do with your child when they reach a certain age that secretly you've been dying to do again yourself? Ok well here is a big one for me....riding the train to the
North Pole!! 
Jack and I have been planning our outfit to visit Santa for weeks (ok he actually got this outfit before he was born with the intention of wearing it around this time- couldn't be more perfect!!) and can't wait for nightfall to get bundled up with our adult-hot chocolates (for the adults only, not Jack!) and brave the trek out to sit on Santa's lap and capture that adorable moment when they realize they aren't on Mommy's lap :) Ha! Our friends Stevie & MJ joined us with their two little guys, and the weather couldn't have been more perfect- a chilly 45 DEGREES....this cold of weather never happens around Christmas in California so I'm even more excited!!
Can you believe it, Jack didn't cry!! Probably b/c his little face was frozen from waiting patiently in line for 1.5 hours to see Santa (really, the hot chocolate saved my sanity) but he did so well!
